Adom Knadjian
Adom A. Knadjian established B&S (Canada) Inc. for a London, UK, based group in the diamond trade in 1979.
As a second-generation member of the watch and jewellery industry, Adom’s passion for fine diamond jewellery was contagious. Since the early eighties he meticulously built, with his family and team, a strong reputation in the Canadian jewellery business, which today is appreciated by many retailers and their clients nationwide.
At the cusp of the Millennium, Adom’s family-owned business developed strong distribution networks for its esteemed Max Strauss Signature Collection®, a fine quality diamond and gemstone jewellery line.
As a dedicated and stalwart supporter of the 106-year-old Canadian Jewellers Association, Adom Knadjian was honoured and privileged to receive the 2016 ‘Chairman’s Award’ as well as the 2023 ‘Erol Paylan Lifetime Achievement Award’.
Upon Adom’s retirement, the Max Strauss brand was acquired by Jack (Hagop) and Raffi Libarian in February 2024. They have endeavoured to secure the deep-rooted DNA of the brand from the quality of its elegant, timeless and iconic pieces as well as its creative branding to the high level of service it provides to jewellery retailers, who in turn offer Max Strauss to discerning clients.

Adom is the President of B&S (Canada) Inc. now a family owned company and operates it with five dedicated and professional staff, including two of his family members. With over forty years of personal experience in the industry, Adom and his company have developed a strong distribution network nationwide and continue to open new retail accounts.
B&S is a member of the ‘Canadian Jewellers Association’ as well as ‘La corporation des bijoutiers du Quebec’.
Adom offers bilingual service to clients and B&S participates at various trade shows in Canada. The company’s focus is primarily supplying to independent jewellery retailers including the Canadian Jewellery Buying group in Ontario and the Gemme buying group in Quebec.
B&S staff is current with new developments in the diamond, gemstone and jewellery trade, following new trends regularly posted by leading industry publications and organizations on the Internet.
